My book comes out tomorrow!

So in less than 24 hours, my book will finally be released on Amazon. You know, I really don’t care that it is a self-published effort and not through a traditional publisher or anything, I still feel good about it because I spent over almost two years working on this book, writing and rewriting and writing some more. I am happy that it’s finally seeing the light of day.

I think I’ll feel even better about it once it actually happens and things get really real tomorrow, when it’s released. Right now, it’s just… excitement. No nervousness, though. It’s so totally different from the time I released my video game. That was a nerve-wracking experience because I was uploading the final files onto Steam, and there was this moment where it looked like the upload had frozen and stalled. But there was no such moment this time. I just sort of… well, I did a lot of uploading and re-uploading of the manuscript and the cover image. Just kept tweaking and tweaking, especially the front matter stuff.

It would be nice if I could really revel in the excitement of this moment, but truth be told, the day job has been too hectic and takes up more of my conscious thoughts. Let’s see if things change tomorrow.
